Born in Pakistan but raised in the UAE, Husam has always considered the UAE his true home. It is in this beautiful country that he is pursuing his studies in law while simultaneously building his business, Equipet. For Husam, the UAE represents a place of opportunity, growth, and personal connection — all of which influence the direction of Equipet and its mission to improve the lives of horses across the region.

Two years ago, Husam founded Equipet with a clear goal in mind: to provide the highest-quality horse bedding, tack items, and supplements to ensure the well-being and comfort of horses in the UAE and beyond. As an avid horse lover, Husam saw a significant gap in the market for premium, locally produced horse bedding, particularly wood shavings.
He noticed that while there were many horse products available, the quality of horse bedding was often lacking. This motivated him to create a solution — one that would offer comfort, support, and a healthier environment for horses. Equipet was born from Husam’s passion for horses and his commitment to raising the standards for equine care in the region.
